| | Manitou's Research and Development (MRD) spent nearly two full seasons of the World Cup testing and perfecting the ideal XC fork with elite athletes, with the prototype being kept under wraps through clever masking. From its first iteration, the fork has secured podiums on the world stage. In other words, what started as an initial test turned into a successful project, creating the most complete available racing XC suspension package. Curious minds had no idea that beneath the intriguing exterior lay the ultimate compromise killer: MANITOU R8.
ACE/DEUCE – COMPLETE CONTROL SMOOTHNESS – Creating the next level of reliable, lightweight, and performance-oriented front suspension required the development of a fork that would perform in all situations and easily adapt to diverse terrain and conditions. Manitou worked tirelessly to create a premium-level remote system to give the rider complete control over the suspension. While the R8 will still have the option for a manual controller, it's most likely that most XC riders will prefer the remote solution. The combination of ACE and DEUCE is a remote lockout (also known as Lockout) for the fork, shock, and dropper post, made by Manitou. The Ace lever controls the dropper post, while the Deuce lever controls both the fork and shock. The two levers are stackable and can be configured in a way that's most comfortable for the rider. In other words, the Ace can be mounted above or below the Deuce and can also be set up as a standalone lever.
Dorado Air w/IVA Spring: As the name suggests, this is a spring derived from the legendary downhill forks of Manitou Dorado. It elegantly and precisely balances the air pressure between the positive and negative chambers during the fork's inflation, thanks to a balancing valve. This provides the fork with a consistent feel, with no flat or dead spots in the travel.

| | The latest generation of the powerful Fenix BC21R V3.0 rechargeable bike light delivers up to 1200 lumens (ANSI) with a range of up to 142 meters.
It is powered by a replaceable 18650 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh, which is included and charges via the USB-C connector directly in the flashlight. The light source is a state-of-the-art Luminus SST-40 diode. Specially designed optics creates a very wide light cone that smoothly and efficiently illuminates the entire area in front of the bike, so that it shines even in places that conventional bicycle lights do not cover.
The design of the holder allows for quick mounting and removal of the light on the handlebars without the use of tools, the holder also allows for quick removal of the lamp, so it can also be used as a high-performance handheld light. The holder can be used on all handlebars with diameters from 22 to 32 millimetres. The Fenix BC21R V3.0 offers a total of five digitally controlled power modes with up to 33 hours of runtime and flashing is also included. Fenix cyc lights will provide you with quality lighting for night workouts, regular commuting and endurance races.
All flashlight parameters (lumen output, battery life, waterproofing and range) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.
Fenix BC21R V3.0 Cycling Light Parameters
A powerful Luminus SST-40 LED with a lifetime of 50000 hours is used.
A total of five power modes: 1200 lumens (2.2 hours*) -> 400 lumens (6.5 hours) -> 150 lumens (11 hours) -> 50 lumens (33 hours) -> flashing (pulsing between 50 and 400 lumens).
One 18650 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh (included in the package) is used for power supply.
* Prolonged use of the highest power may cause the flashlight to heat up and activation of the intelligent overheating protection function, which automatically reduces the power output.
Digital power control.
Low battery warning, overcharge protection and complete battery discharge.
Specially shaped optics create a light cone combining wide peripheral illumination and a range of up to 142 metres (5082 cd).
Flashlight attaches to the holder with a quick-release mechanism that allows it to be removed in a flash and reattached securely just as quickly.
Rubberized construction of the holder socket ensures a firm and secure fit of the bike light with easy and reliable directional adjustment light.
Compatible with handlebars with a diameter of 22 to 32 millimetres.
The direction of light can be adjusted in three lateral steps in a range of approx. 30°.
Memory for the last set power mode (except flashing mode).
Made of aircraft hardened aluminium type A6061-T6.
Waterproof and dustproof to IP68 standard (tested under water at a depth of 2 meters for 30 minutes).
Shockproof against drops from a height of 1.5 meters.
Dimensions of the light 10,8 cm x 2,9 cm x 2,7 cm.
Light weight 157 g (including battery).
Contents package: flashlight, universal handlebar mount, Fenix battery 18650 with a capacity of 2600 mAh, USB-C cable, spare sealing ring.
The flashlight can be purchased with a handlebar mount for a second bike, Fenix ALD-08 mount for a bike helmet or flat road aero handlebars, Fenix ALD-10 adapter for attaching the light to GoPro mounts.
Additionally, a USB mains adapter and USB car adapter, a USB adapter supporting fast charging and a colour USB-C cable can be added to the light.
Using the bike light
There may be an insulating cap inside the lantern on the battery pack at the factory. Remove it from the battery pack before first use.
To switch on or off hold the side button for approximately 0.5 seconds. The luminaire always switches on in the last set mode (except flashing), the other power levels can be switched at any time during operation by pressing the button. For to switch to flashing mode, press the button twice quickly.
Battery capacity indication (valid only when powered by 18650 Li-ion battery) - when the lamp is switched off press the button once briefly to illuminate the indicator light for three seconds LED in the button for one second. A green light or blink indicates the battery is charged to more than 50%, red lighting or flashing indicates 50% or less. The indication LED is also lit when the torch is switched on, so the user is kept informed of the battery status while driving.
Low battery warning - if the battery capacity falls below a safe level, the flashlight automatically switches to lower power modes to ensure the for the longest possible life (the lamp cannot then switch to higher power modes). If the battery is critically low, the button will flash red. In this case, we recommend charging the flashlight as soon as possible to avoid the protective electronics built into the battery are switched off and therefore the light goes out.
Intelligent overheating protection - when the temperature exceeds 60 °C, the luminaire automatically gradually reduces power, once the lamp has cooled down below this limit, the highest modes will be restored available.
Charging
Unclip the USB-C rubber cap connector on the bottom of the flashlight and use the included USB cable to plug it into a computer, power bank, USB mains adapter or USB car adapter.
The button glows red while charging, and glows green when fully charged.
Charging time is about 2 hours. The Li-ion battery used does not suffer from memory effect, so the flashlight can be recharged at any time.
During charging, the flashlight can be used in an emergency, but only in two modes of 50 and 150 lumens.
Be sure to seal the USB-C connector cover after charging and removing the power cable.
Caution
Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the flashlight head yourself, it will violate the warranty.
If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion the rubber. By following these rules, the luminaire will be properly protected against water.
If the lantern flickers, does not switch to higher modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
The battery is almost dead; charge or replace it.
The contacts inside the lantern are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
The battery cap is loose, tighten it.
Warranty
Five years warranty on the luminaire, two years warranty on the battery. In stock | 74,90 €
