The latest model of the Varia™ cycle radar with an integrated camera for video recording of rides in high resolution 1080p at 30 fps.
The active cyclo-radar alerts you to vehicles approaching from behind from a distance of up to 140 meters while riding, and at the same moment, it starts signaling your presence on the road to the approaching vehicle. The reverse safety (red) LED light is visible during the day from a distance of up to 1.6 km. An approaching vehicle is alerted by changing the intensity of the light (flashing).
The Varia™ cycle radar is a solution for better safety of cyclists when riding on normal roads, where there are frequent accidents caused by rear-end collisions.
BATTERY LIFE
You'll have enough battery even on longer drives - the battery lasts up to 4 hours with the radar and rear light on in high beam or night light mode, 5 hours in dimmed light mode, and 6 hours in daylight mode - always with the 1080p camera on.

Pair the integrated camera and control it with your Edge® cycling computer, compatible smartphone or select Garmin watches.
SUPPORT FOR OTHER APPLICATIONS
If you use a compatible phone, you can link the Varia™ RCT715 radar to your favorite apps, such as Ride with GPS, and display radar alerts through the map view.
Varia RCT 715 is equipped with a slot for micro SD cards, in the package with a supplied 16GB card for recording video of the rides.
