The JUNIT handlebar system completely reversed the traditional design approach.

Starting with the search for the ideal grip diameter and material, the design was refined through to the optimal handlebar length and sweep angles—all tailored to fit a standard stem diameter. The result is a handlebar with a smaller ergonomic profile, specifically designed for smaller hands.

For increased safety, the handlebar features an integrated bar-end plug that will never pop out. The ProTaper JUNIT handlebar system is fully compatible with all existing shifters and brake levers, as the grip area maintains a standard component clamp diameter.
