The P ZERO ™ Race TLR RS represents the latest model in the P ZERO ™ Race line of racing road tires made in Italy. It was developed in collaboration with professional athletes from the Pirelli World Tour teams to provide better speed and grip than any other tire ever created at Pirelli. This achievement is possible thanks to the new SmartEVO2 rubber compound formulation, formulated with know-how and the latest materials used in motorsport, which guarantees a further improvement in grip and handling on both dry and wet surfaces. In addition, the patented SpeedCORE™ frame structure, which contains a thin, hermetic layer of rubber enriched with aramid particles, has also been lightened. The combination of these factors made it possible to create a performance tire that is even faster for racers, but also for those who want to benefit from the same technology as professionals.

Starting with today's stage of the 107th Giro d'Italia (Tour of Italy), the Lidl-Trek World Tour team has officially adopted this new tire. The American men's and women's teams have raced with this tire since the start of the season (branded Pirelli #prototype) and have already collected over 70 podium finishes, including 2nd place at the Strade Bianche and women's Strade Bianche, 2nd place at Liege–Bastogne–Liege Femmes, as well as 2nd and 3rd at Paris-Roubaix Femmes and Paris-Roubaix.
