As one of the most famous tirecompanies in the world, it supplies mountain bike tires of the highest quality. Because we use them ourselves, we can say that Maxxis products meet the highest standards.
The Maxxis Minion DHR II has a side tread pattern taken from the legendary Minion DHF, but here it's expanded to provide more cornering support than any other tire. The center tread has angled leading edges to improve acceleration and sipes to create a smooth transition when leaning the bike. The tread on the center tread digs into the ground under hard braking to help keep the bike under control.
Pair it with the Minion DHF up front and you've got the perfect tire combination for aggressive trail riding! The Minion DHF is available in trail, enduro and downhill specifications.

WIDE TRAIL (WT) construction optimizes the tire's layout and tread profile on today's modern, wider rims. Traditional tires are designed on older, narrower rims and can create an overly square tire profile, resulting in less than optimal performance. WT tires are optimized for a 35mm inner rim width, but have been proven to work in a range of 30 to 35mm inner rim widths, depending on rider preference.
The Maxxis Wide Trail XC tires are optimized for use with 30 mm inner rim widths, but will work well on rims narrower than 25 mm. Maxxis does not recommend rims wider than 30 mm or narrower than 25 mm

EXO is a cut and abrasion resistant material that is added to the sidewalls of Maxxis mountain and gravel tires. This tightly woven fabric is lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tire remains unchanged. Choose EXO Protection for increased durability on gravel, XC and easy trails.

TUBELESS READY (TR) tires are tubeless ready and provide many benefits to the rider: the ability to ride at lower pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance compared to a tubeless tire; and less chance of flattening because there is no tube. Tubeless tires are marked with the letters "TR" on the sidewall.
Tubeless tires must be mounted on tubeless rims and require the use of a liquid sealant to maintain pressure. Liquid sealants have the added advantage of sealing small punctures. Be sure to check the sealant regularly and renew it as needed, as it will dry out over time.
