protection against the rain. This garment is totally waterproof and
windproof being made from GORE-TEX® C-Knit 3L which also guarantees an
excellent degree of breathability. Lightweight, hard-wearing and
ergonomically designed to combine comfort and maximum mobility, this
jacket is ideal for mountain activities such as trekking, hiking,
mountaineering or ice climbing.
Material
The new triple-layer fabrics of GORE-TEX® products based on GORE® C-KNIT ™ Backer technology are aimed at people who enjoy hiking, trekking, skiing, freeriding, and so on: people who want comfortable and soft fabric that provide the greatest level of protection against humid conditions. Thanks to its laminated composition, designed exclusively and patent pending (C-KNIT ™ Backer), the new products are lighter, softer, and even more breathable than the previous generation, without affecting their strength. The new support is made from very fine threads, sewn in a circular pattern, producing a slightly elastic material.
