The women's running shoe Challenger ATR 7 Wide from Hoka One One is designed for all types of terrain. The upper is made from synthetic technical mesh for high breathability and comfort, with TPU overlays. The midsole is made from a performance-oriented, special CMEVA foam that ensures optimal shock absorption and cushioning, providing a plush feel.

The geometry of the midsole ensures a fast and light run on the road, while smaller, closely spaced grips in the center and larger, more aggressive grips on the outsole adapt to any terrain, providing stability.

The updated lace-up system securely tightens the entire foot and keeps the foot in place. The main high-stress areas of the outsole, on the heel and forefoot, are made of rubber for better support. The heel counter "locks" the heel in place, providing necessary support and enhancing safety against slipping.
