Fenix 21700 5000 mAh (Li-ion)

The Fenix 21700 5000 mAh rechargeable battery is based on top LiNiCoO2 technology, which guarantees a longer life and greater safety. The service life is more than 500 charging cycles.

The advantage of the Li-Ion battery is its high capacity, moreover, it suffers from almost no self-discharge or memory effect. This model is a great choice because, despite its size and weight, it can store a huge amount of energy.

This battery is equipped with protection against overcharge, overcharge, short circuits, overheating, and high current consumption. If the electronic protection of the battery reaches the limit values, the cell is safely disconnected.

There is also a separator, protection against overheating (PTC - positive temperature coefficient) and a special anti-explosion valve. If a gas overpressure occurs in the cell, an internal separator separates the electrodes inside the battery and an anti-explosion valve drains the gas outside the battery. Thanks to all these protective features, Fenix batteries are one of the safest on the market.

You can use this model with Fenix HT18, PD36R, TK22 V2.0 and TK22 UE LED lights. However, due to its larger dimensions, it cannot be used with 18650 batteries. The battery has a diameter of 21.5 mm and a total length of 76 mm. You can therefore only charge it in chargers that are adapted to these dimensions.
