The GP5000 is made from a 3-ply material with a TPI of 330 and has been upgraded with a Black Chilli compound. The Vectran Breaker safety belt has not been left without innovation, the puncture protection has been increased by 20% and in doing so the weight has been reduced by 10g. The designers managed to reduce rolling resistance by 12% on the new model compared to the GrandPrix 4000 S II.
Two new features have also been added, such as Active Comfort Technology , which is designed to absorb vibrations, and Lazer Grip providing better cornering grip.
