The key innovations of the new EQUIPE RS shorts are the new fabric and the new liner. The new Type.911 fabric has enabled a complete redesign of the fit, reducing the number of seams and creases while optimising the fit on the legs and waist.
It also allowed Assos to eliminate the bib design, as the Type.911 is more flexible and compressive than the Type.411 used in the previous generation. The S11 shorts are no longer just suspended from the chest straps, but wrap around the rider's body with an omnidirectional, body-hugging stability. The upper of the new RS S11 liner is softer and more wash-resistant and features improved odor control while maintaining the cooling airflow, micro-impact absorption and lightweight profile of its predecessor.
